SHOWER DAYS (Mondays 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM)

Ethos: Our aim is to foster a supportive environment where our unhoused and housing-transitioning neighbors can connect with individuals and organizations, working towards their personal goals and maintaining healthy lives.

Support and Care Provided: We offer a safe space for community building, food and coffee, a climate-controlled environment, showers, housing assessments, mental health support, and haircuts.

WAYS TO SERVE (Mondays 9:00 AM - 2:30 PM)

Meal Team

For individuals 16 and older who enjoy serving good food and are willing to assist with meal setup and cleanup.
Tasks: Set up and clean the meal area, serve meals.
Times:
- Breakfast Team (9:00 AM - 11:30 AM)
- Kitchen Clean-Up (11:00 AM - 12:30 PM)

Guest Support Team

For friendly individuals 16 and older who enjoy welcoming guests and ensuring efficient operations for our partners.
Tasks: Greet guests, sign people in using iPad, call names for showers or housing appointments, update the shower list, fold towels.
Times:
- Morning Shift (9:00 AM - 12:00 PM)
- Afternoon Shift (12:00 PM - 2:30 PM)

Floater

For adults willing to serve wherever support is most needed upon arrival.
Tasks: Assist with any of the tasks listed above, build community with guests, and those individuals who are 18 or older willing to serve with Moving Waters outside.
